LP TUNES REPLACEMENT FOR PICKERING 4527 STYLUS (78 RPM STYLUS)

The replacement for the Pickering 4527 stylus is used in all Pickering XV-15 series cartridges, UV-15 2000-Q and V-15 Micro series cartridges. The stylus features a 3.0 mil polished diamond designed specifically for the correct tracing of the wide grooves of 78 RPM records. A very common misconception is that you can use an LP stylus for playing 78 RPM records. This is one quick and sure way to damage the 78 RPM record grooves. To maintain the playback fidelity of your 78 record, you really need to use a stylus designed for 78 RPM records, otherwise with just a single playing, you could ruin the fidelity of the record grooves. Moreover, the LP stylus is much narrower than the 78 RPM record groove hence the tip will slide to the bottom of the groove where debris has collected for many decades. This results in extraordinarily high-surface noise.

The JICO SAS replacement for the Shure N91E N91ED needle stylus is used with the Shure M91E phono cartridge and its series. Notation: Note: The serial number on your turntable must start with "Y", "S", "B", "GK", or "AA" to be compatible with this stylus. All VTA-75 models, regardless of serial number, are compatible with this stylus.
If your serial number starts with "SAM" or if you have a "White Canvas Model With Retro Stickers" (VSC-550BT/VSC-400SB), this stylus is not compatible with your unit.

The Victrola ITNP-S1 stylus should last about 50 hours under normal use. It is recommended that the stylus be replaced as soon as you notice a change in sound quality. 78 RPМ records may accelerate stylus wear and may have to be changed sooner.

The LP GEAR improved stylus lasts about 300-1,000 hours under normal use or 60-20 times longer than the Victrola ITPNS1 needle.
