Hand-crafted mahogany earpieces are cured in an intricate process that optimizes the tonal quality while giving these beautiful headphones a distinctive look. The GS1000e uses 50mm dynamic transducers and the new 12-conductor cable design. The wood, driver, and cable designs, result in tight control and stability of the upper and lower range of the frequency spectrum to support the GS1000e's world renowned midrange.

Grado's GS1000e cushion design creates a 'room' for the ears to sit, with a larger soundstage and greater spatial experience for the listener. It was most important to design the correct balance between the driver and the  wooden driver housing to give the pure sound we crave.

The GS1000e retains a sound that is pure Grado, with warm harmonic colors, rich full-bodied vocals, excellent dynamics, and an ultra-smooth top end. The presentation is very detailed, the bass is deep, and the music is very tight while non-fatiguing. All with stunning separation and layering of the music.

This Grado cable is constructed from the same high quality wire as their headphone cable. For longer lengths the cable may be piggybacked up to 3 cables with no degradation of sonic quality.

GRADO MINI ADAPTER CABLE

Constructed of the same high quality wire as their headphone cable, the Grado mini plug adapter cable converts a 1/4 inch (6.3mm) plug to 1/8 inch (3.5mm) plug. The mini adapter cable has a 1/8 inch (3.5mm) plug then 8 inches (20cm) of cable connected to a 1/4 inch (6.3mm) jack. The 8 inches (20cm) of cable eliminates added leverage on the output circuit board of the source. Grado guarantees no degradation of sonic quality with Grado headphones while using their mini adapter cable.

Grado RS2E HEADPHONES

Quite handily one of the best headphones, it serves the musical source without exaggeration so you can listen as if you were with the artists recording in the studio. Because of this, if you are seeking bass thumpers or ear-splitting sound, or overabundant detail, the R2SE is not for you. It is well-balanced top to bottom purposely to accurately serve the artist's intent for the recording, not anyone else's remixing of it.

In case you want a remix version of the music, you can do this yourself through your own equalization - just play with the bass and treble controls, haha.

FYI, We read somewhere that replacing the RS2E's cushion with Grado's own G-cush turns it into an over-the-ear design and makes the sound slightly different (we won't say better because we defer that judgment for you to make): wider soundstage, sub-bass tauter, etc. Just like tube and stylus rolling, eh?

Grado SR-125 headphones, Grado SR125 headphones, head phone wireless headphones

One of the two Grado headphones that have gained legendary status, the SR125 have received rave reviews from around the world and are one of the most commonly recommended headphones in the market today. The SR125 received the Stereophile Product of the Year award in two categories: "The Accessory of the Year" and the prestigious "Budget Component of the Year."

 

The SR125 feature an improved diaphragm and voice coil design and UHPLC (Ultra-high purity, long crystal) copper voice coil wire. The diaphragms are put through a special 'de-stressing' process in order to enhance inner detail. An improved headband spring provides even greater comfort allowing the listener to relax and enjoy the fine tonal spread and balance. Bass, midrange and treble are all more open.

The SR125 offer natural sound quality with abundant detail, clarity, and well defined bass. They sound excellent with portables and inexpensive home audio electronics.
