I went to the well and purchased a second stylus. Man, this one sounds better than the first. Even though they are the identical stylus, this second one has some kind of magic going on. I am getting even more detail and transient response. Background vocals are even more defined. This second stylus is 95 percent of the original Shure stylus sound. Must be some kind of oooga booga magic going on. Seriously though, this v15rs stylus is sounding superb. If I give it too much of a glowing review, there will be a run on this stylus. Shhhh, let's keep this among ourselves.
The Jico N-68 replacement stylus for my Kenwood KD-47F fit perfectly, sounds great and tracks well.
Purchase and delivery went very smoothly. Product worked well. All as advertised. LP Tunes is on my list for turntable products to look in the future. Thanks.
I was given a vintage turntable and the stylus was broken. LP Tunes had the exact match. Ordering was easy; pictures of the stylus helped and my order arrived in a few days. Very satisfied with the service and the stylus.
One of the few places that carry a stylus for my somewhat obscure cartridge. Showed up in good shape and works as advertised.
Stylus works great as a replacement on my technics slj-2. Not sure if I have original cartridge, but stylus matched up in the picture and then fit perfectly. Sounds great so far.
The Cerapreme does deliver on the much better sound reproduction claimed, however its not a exact fit for my the ION LP Archive turntable, it installs but not smoothly you have to work it into correct position, it just doesn't snap into place like the original stylus, it can fall off, though its shape looks exactly like the OEM stylus, there's a slight difference somewhere keeping from being a perfect fit, for a few more dollars more I should have bought the cartridge and stylus combo and replaced it all.
Thanks to LP Tunes for helping me pick the right stylus for my fisher price phonograph. After sitting in an attic for over 20 years, it's playing records again.
Could not imaging that I was missing this much of everything with my old stylus. Now more bass, presence, detail, everything!
The LP Gear Cerapreme 78 stylus brings the most out of the CEC/Chuo Denshi type ceramic cartridge for 78 RPM reproduction. If you put this stylus into a real Japanese CEC cartridge in a serious turntable, you end up with a very nice 78 reproducer. If you put it in a little Numark PT01, it makes for a very nice portable player for 78s. At its current price, this stylus is hard to beat.
I can't give a review at this time as the needles were purchased as spares and I have not used any, but they look exactly as the original.
