LP Tunes CARBON FIDELITY CFT4PSE cartridge

I grabbed this carbon fideltiy P mount along with one of the fancy LP Tunes T4P REFERENCE SERIES VS carts with the shibata tip to compare it against. Both brand new from LP tunes. All I can say is I can't tell any diffrerences between them with my ears in my room. I run a couple technics linear tables for them and with good vinyl the sound reproduction to me is cd quality. It is insane how good the Carbon fidelity cart/ stylus sounds. I would highly suspect there are differences sonically between the Carbon stylus and the expensive Shibata stylus however I lack any tools to measure this and with both being identical to my ears I know once they wear out I will buy replacement Carbon Styluses for both! Don't sleep on this cartridge it sounds phenomenal on technics linear trackers, and likley any of the p mount linear trackers from the 80's. SL-J2, SL-QL15, SL-6 here for reference.

I have an old Onkyo turntable and not a clue what cartridge I needed. LP Tunes has great customer service! I sent some photos of what I had and they gave me two good suggestions. I chose the Carbon Fidelity CRT4PSE. It fit perfectly and I have been enjoying my vinyl once again! My collection is old but the sound is great!!

I sent emails to a couple companies about my early 1980’s JVC turntable needing a stylus cartridge. The other company sent regrets that they couldn’t find one that fit . LP Tunes got back to me like lightning with quick links to 3 different options. I looked, clicked and received the cartridge in a couple days. Plugged it in and The Outlaws never sounded so good. I bought the LP CFT4PSE cartridge to replace a 40 year old Blue Point cartridge that I received from an audiophile friend of mine 40 years ago. I couldn't be happier. Playing it through my 48 year old Kenwood receiver and Technics SL-Q200 it sounds fantastic. Now if the neighbors would just stop banging on my door telling me to turn it down :-) Great service and fast shipping too!

this cartridge destroys the AT85EP (and it’s only $10 more). shipped ridiculously fast, I think it honestly showed up in 2 days. this is getting the best sound i’ve experienced out of my Technics SL-V5 which is super picky on cartridges, i’m stoked on this thing!
