The improved stylus for the GPX S7694 turntable home stereo system features a highly polished conical diamond for long playing life, reduced record wear and good rendition of voice and music. The original GPX stylus used a sapphire tip which lasts for about 50-100 playing hours. A diamond tip will last for about 500-1,000 playing hours.
