Historic Experiential Legacy
In 1979, Audio-Technica introduced the AT120E/G cartridge, and with it, launched the AT100 series of VM cartridges. It spawned prolific record-playing aficionados: the AT440 (discontinued), AT430 (discontinued), AT100 (discontinued), AT120 (discontinued), AT130 (discontinued), AT140 (discontinued), AT150 (discontinued), AT160 (discontinued), and the VM cartridges of today: VM 610, 530EN, 540ML and 740ML, 750SH, 760SLC series. Together, these cartridges played music that was heard most through turntables and records during the golden age of vinyl. Audio-Technica's voice was heard by the earth's population through those cartridge during those 45 years. That is the phenomenon and cultural legacy of Audio-Technica.

Thus we curated their AT100 cartridges as celebration and esteem for the historic Audio-Technica legacy; so devoted and new owners will continue to hear these treasures at their best for lifetimes to come. Its new owner anonymously donated the historic instrument to violinist Anne Akiko Meyers, on loan for the rest of her life.

LP TUNES ALLOY FIDELITY ALN3600L STYLUS

An aluminum alloy cantilevered upgrade replacement for the Audio-Technica ATN3600L stylus, this stylus was developed as an alternative to the abundant coda (or tail) sheen that the original ATN3600L stylus had that many adore but some don't. The ALN3600L allows owners of the AT3600L cartridge to enjoy the refined sound quality of an aluminum cantilevered stylus. Aluminum possesses excellent vibration control and dampening characteristics, and many say it gives beautiful tone quality to the music.

It is also designed to be robust and thus can handle a higher tracking force.

ALN3600LE STYLUS FOR AUDIO-TECHNICA AT-SB727 SOUND BURGER (NEW VERSION) TURNTABLES

The AT3600L cartridge is the most ubiquitous cartridge in the planet! It is also the most misunderstood and underrated. Because it was given as a freebie in abundance as original manufacturer installed cartridge for many low-cost record players, it established a reputation as a cheap, low-performance throw-way cartridge. That is how it has been perceived for many decades - until a few uncovered its authenticity. For example: Rega with its re-labeled Rega Carbon and LP Tunes with its CF3600LE. The latter elevated the performance bar and awareness level of this humble cartridge.

LP Tunes, convinced of this cartridge's unrealized potential for greatness, continues to research the improvement possibilities for the AT3600L. This five-year endeavor has led to collaborations with convincing to formidable results and the development of two newly introduced products: The ALN3600LE (up to 4g tracking force) and the ALN3600LENSS (for 1.5-2.5g tracking force applications) .

To discover these gems, LP Tunes has had to re-configure our turntable audio playback system to deliver unadulterated sound quality: Rega RP10 turntable, Sota Sapphire turntable, Audience SE Phono Cable, Audience Ohno speaker cables, Odyssey amplifier, Linear Tube Audio Z40+ Integrated amplifier, Totem Element Fire V2 Speakers, Spendor BC-1 and LS8/1 speakers, Philharmonic Audio The BMR Monitor and The Ceramic Monitor speakers. We sound tested these various styli to verify that they performed better in different audio settings.

Using the above audio system, we identified the ALN3600LE as the celestial stylus and subsequently called it -Vividity (TM). This model name describes the ALN3600L ability to divine the grooves with fidelity and fervor, thus resulting in music reproduced with abundance and nuanced emotion/feeling that was recorded during the performance.
