Audio-Technica replacement ATN-3472SE stylus

I purchased this stylus to replace the ATN 3472E. This upgrade was worth it. It sounds rich and extends deeper in the bass. It is very quiet. A direct drop in with the AT RS2002. Build quality is very good. A great stylus for the money.

When I recently placed an order for a stylus with LP Tunes, they promptly followed up with the status on my order. It turns out that the product that I was looking for wasn't available. However, they promptly provide options for a replacement. I was impressed with their personal service that I then went ahead and upgraded to an enhanced stylus as well as I decided to order two stylus - so I have one as a "back up". I contacted the folks at LP Tunes to verify that this stylus would work with my old cartridge. They were very helpful and I got just what I needed. My old LPs sound great now!

I found a Dual CS508 ULM turntable at the local Thrift Store. It still had the AT cartridge installed utilizing the Dual 1/2" adapter. I made a simple repair but upon testing, the cartridge had no output. I removed the headshell adapter and found that "fatigue" had cause the adapter to crack causing a loss of contact with the tonearm connection. I had bought to 1/2" adapters from ebay and transferred the AT cartridge to the new adapter and mounted it back on the tonearm. The turntabled played perfectly. As a matter of protocol, I ordered a new stylus from LP Tunes that fit perfectly. Thank you for still having this stylus in stock.
