The LP Tunes 78 RPM replacement for the ATN-3472 needle stylus is equipped with a 3.0 mil polished diamond. This stylus is designed specifically for correct tracing of the wide grooves of 78 RPM records while providing minimum abrasion and maximum sound reproduction.

The color of this stylus has changed over the years. Please be sure to compare your stylus with this stylus before ordering. Do not order this stylus if it looks different than the stylus that you have.

New Belt

Turntable belt fits perfectly as described!

Soundesign stylus Mdel 6821

Stylus fit, the weight was light i ended up having to use a similar stylus that was heavier and for an Emerson.
The lighter stylus allowed the arm to float across the album.

D51 type stylus works fine

Looks & Sounds like the Original

Arrived well packed although I was concerned that it didn’t have the little cover over the needle that a new stylus often has. But once installed it sounded good!

Thorens Replacement Belt

Belt is more robust than old belt. Highly recommended.

Giant Killer

If you have an OM body, base or Super, you owe it to yourself to get this stylus. It plays WAY above its price range! I am still breaking it in, but wow! On new vinyl it is dead quiet. No pops, background noise or hisses. Plays music from top to bottom without me missing any midrange.
I have 3 different versions of these, shure n75ed2, at 3600l, now this ortofon version which could become my favorite. Buy these and get a good phono stage ( I am using an old nad 7140) and stop worrying about expensive cartridges! An absolute jem!
