Hello, this was an easy fix and the inherited turntable with a 24 year old original stylus now has a new one. All my albums are a joy to listen to. Thanks for the quick shipping and service.

Giant Killer

If you have an OM body, base or Super, you owe it to yourself to get this stylus. It plays WAY above its price range! I am still breaking it in, but wow! On new vinyl it is dead quiet. No pops, background noise or hisses. Plays music from top to bottom without me missing any midrange.
I have 3 different versions of these, shure n75ed2, at 3600l, now this ortofon version which could become my favorite. Buy these and get a good phono stage ( I am using an old nad 7140) and stop worrying about expensive cartridges! An absolute jem!

ATN-152LP Replacement

Stylus definitely improved sound over 40+ year old original stylus! Am slightly bothered that it's a bonded diamond rather than nude, though my 70+ year old ears likely couldn't detect a difference any more, if they ever could. Makes every LP I've played so far sound like new again.
