That critical little part

Ordered a new tonearm belt for a Technics SL D-333 to replace a crunchy original. $14 for a tiny belt seems like a lot but when that's what you need to resurrect a classic turntable you pay it. The belt is correct and high quality so Im very happy with ourchase.

An unusual purchase... but good!

So, I ordered two JICO ATN-11G styli from LP Tunes. What I received was two ATN-11E styli. And I received them from LP Gear, not LP Tunes. 😵‍💫 Anyway, the styli I received seem to be maybe slightly higher up on the quality scale than the styli I ordered. The ones I got have a .6 mil stylus sted of .7 mil. What difference this makes is impossible for me to tell. All I know is they sound very good and I got them for a slightly discounted price. So... my only suggestion would be for LP Tunes and LP Gear to roll everything into a single website and try to keep track more closely of their inventory. Actually, even with the confusing websites, LP Tunes/Gear is a great resource for us vinyl folks these days.

JICO N97HE...every bit as good as original Shure for M97HE

Just received my JICO N97HE from LP Tunes. I plan to use it for both my Shure
M97HE and M97HE-AH cartridges. Upon first listen the JICO tracked perfectly
@ 1.25g, brush up position. Highs were crisp and clear but never shrill. Midrange is full but with a warm quality, like the original Shure. Lows are tight
and very satisfying. Separation and imaging are outstanding. This is not a JICO
SAS, but I'm pretty happy with my purchase, and it's not even broken in yet.
