The Pioneer PL-550 PL 550 PL550 (ST,SG) turntable was fitted with a Pioneer PC-550E/II PC550E/II phono cartridge and a Pioneer PN-550II PN550II needle stylus. A photo of the stylus replacement is supplied above. The color of the stylus varies. Please verify and use this as a guide only since the cartridge and stylus may have been changed through the years.

What is the difference between stylus Pioneer PL-550 PL-550 PL-550 (ST,SG) and the side by side picture on your website of Pioneer PL-550 PL-550 PL-550. The question was put to Carrie Several Days ago. Still no response. The ST,SG apparently isn't right. The body is correct but the plug in end diameter is a little too large. I want to purchase the image on the same webpage that LOOKS exactly the same but no ST,SG in the description IF it is indeed the right one.

Just what I needed

In five minutes I located and ordered the belt for a random old turntable I found at a garage sale. The part came quickly and fit perfectly!

The original belt had deteriorated into dust, I don’t know how I could have found the right one without being able to look it up by make & model. (there was nothing left to measure!). Thanks to LP Tunes I was able to get this $10 turntable working and sounding great!
