The Nagaoka JN-P110 JNP110 needle stylus for the Nagaoka MP-110 MP110 phono cartridge features a super-fine polished elliptical diamond bonded to an aluminum alloy cantilever for a firmer grip on the record grooves, resulting in better tonality, detail and air. The aluminum cantilever is more durable and longer lasting. The stylus is made in Japan by a world-class manufacturer with a reputation for crafting musically excellent and high-quality replacement styli.

So far so good

This Shure cartridge has a nice sound to it that isn't muffled like the m97xe. It's more animated and open. The bass is clearer. It seems like the older Shure models such as the m93.. So far there is a very slight sibilance that occurs, but I only have gone through a few records so far using a linear tracking Technics set at 1.265. I think this should change after a reasonable amount of time for break-in. I do like this cartridge and I am glad I purchased it.. Bought it with JIco replacement but have not tried it yet. I would purchase from LP Tunes when something else is needed.

Sounds Great, not an exact fit

I purchased this this stylus to replace the one I had on a Shure M81MC Cartridge on a Sony turntable. It does not fit as tightly as the original but it sounds good the I play the albums. I am so grateful I can finally get a new stylus for my 40 year old turntable as there was a long period no now made them. LP Vinyl is back! Now I can hear beautiful music on all my old LPs that I never wanted to get rid of.

Everything I expected

Stylus performed as well as the original and was a direct fit. There was a snafu with my billing address so it was not shipped. When I pointed out that my account was charged, the stylus was shipped, but days late. I still do not know why, because it was my correct billing address. It was a minor problem, so I dinged 1 star for a rating of four
