MUSIC HALL MAGIC 2 MAGIC-2 STYLUS

The original Magic 2 stylus was made by Ortofon for Music Hall. It is now discontinued and unavailable. We consulted with Music Hall leadership to find the correct, latest replacement. This is their recommendation — it is better than the original. It is offered at the same price as the original. The first photo shows the latest replacement; the second photo shows the original blue stylus. The color of the stylus may vary.

Upgrade Options
If you seek further discernment and improved sound quality, you can easily upgrade to a higher level of performance by simply replacing the Stylus Magic 2 with a LP Gear Nude Stylus 10, 20, 30, 40 or 50 stylus.

Very nice upgrade.

I've had this for over 6 months, and I can report that it has much better bass, and treble than the original. Everything is very clean and detailed sounding. A few notable examples. I recently ordered Eva Cassidy Live Blues Alley 25th anniversary, 180gram, 45RPM. The soundstage is absolutely amazing. It is on the same level, if not surpasses MoFi Eric Clapton Unplugged SACD. My sister gifted me the soundtrack to Sinners on 180gram vinyl. I actually heard the soundtrack before I saw the movie. I didn't know vinyl could support so much bass. My room becomes fully pressurized with that soundtrack, backed by a SVS SB3000. Last would be Miles Davis Kind of Blue. I have this on 200gram 33/3RPM and MoFi SACD. I can hear tape hiss on both, and both sound very much the same. SACD wins on floor noise, but really not by much. My vinyl copy is also crazy clean sounding, but sonically sounding, they sound so close.

Feedback on Turntable Belt Purchase

We ordered a turntable belt from Japan last month and would like to share our feedback.

Although we already owned the turntable unit, we had been experiencing speed issues with belts available in Japan, which made proper playback difficult. After using your product, the speed accuracy improved significantly and resolved the issue.

As a result, we have been able to enjoy our records properly and have even started purchasing and listening to more records.

This ViVid Line stylus is great!

I first tried it with the brush attached. The brush does introduce soft swishing noises that are more noticable with headphones. So, as recommended, I removed the brush and readjusted the VTF to 1.25 grams. Now the sound floor is quiet, and all is well!

Good replacement for a very old stylus.

The AT stylus on my old Sansui turntable was probably decades old, and no longer available. Even the one that AT made to replace it is no longer available. This one fit perfectly and works great.
