Genuine, unsurpassed LP TUNES® stylus for exceptional sound quality

At LP TUNES®, our philosophy runs counter to the usual convention of commerce — planned obsolescence. We believe that products created for perfection should last a lifetime of enjoyment or much longer like the Stradivari Messiah 1716 or the Guarneri violin. Afterall, a cartridge lasts indefinitely.

Older than the USA — 283 years old to be exact, the Vieuxtemps Guarneri Del Gesu-1741 named for its most famous owner, the leading Belgian virtuoso and composer who esteemed it so much he wanted to be buried with it, recently became the most expensive violin in the world, selling for an estimated $16 million. Its new owner anonymously donated the historic instrument to violinist Anne Akiko Meyers, on loan for the rest of her life. Thus, our rationale for rejuvenating the OM's life with ultra modern styli so existing and new users can continue to enjoy this treasure.

Experience what would have been, should have been, the sound of the flagship Super OM cartridge had there been a relentless pursuit of perfection. Instead they chose to replace the OM series with a new model cartridge, redesigned the stylus knob by adding fins to make it look modern and substantial, and changed the sound quality by tilting the highs upward for more detail.

Limited to 103 units, each LP Tunes Stylus 50 SLC is tested, in the laboratory with precision electronic instruments and then by actual record-playing and listening, using a Technics SL-1200 Mk3 turntable and Graham Slee Communicator phono preamp, to ascertain that each meets or exceeds sound quality and specified target output voltage, cross-talk, and balance.

Very nice upgrade.

I've had this for over 6 months, and I can report that it has much better bass, and treble than the original. Everything is very clean and detailed sounding. A few notable examples. I recently ordered Eva Cassidy Live Blues Alley 25th anniversary, 180gram, 45RPM. The soundstage is absolutely amazing. It is on the same level, if not surpasses MoFi Eric Clapton Unplugged SACD. My sister gifted me the soundtrack to Sinners on 180gram vinyl. I actually heard the soundtrack before I saw the movie. I didn't know vinyl could support so much bass. My room becomes fully pressurized with that soundtrack, backed by a SVS SB3000. Last would be Miles Davis Kind of Blue. I have this on 200gram 33/3RPM and MoFi SACD. I can hear tape hiss on both, and both sound very much the same. SACD wins on floor noise, but really not by much. My vinyl copy is also crazy clean sounding, but sonically sounding, they sound so close.

Feedback on Turntable Belt Purchase

We ordered a turntable belt from Japan last month and would like to share our feedback.

Although we already owned the turntable unit, we had been experiencing speed issues with belts available in Japan, which made proper playback difficult. After using your product, the speed accuracy improved significantly and resolved the issue.

As a result, we have been able to enjoy our records properly and have even started purchasing and listening to more records.

We appreciate the quality of your product. When the belt wears out in the future, we plan to purchase from you again :)

Perfect fit. Sounds great!

This ViVid Line stylus is great!

I first tried it with the brush attached. The brush does introduce soft swishing noises that are more noticable with headphones. So, as recommended, I removed the brush and readjusted the VTF to 1.25 grams. Now the sound floor is quiet, and all is well!

Good replacement for a very old stylus.

The AT stylus on my old Sansui turntable was probably decades old, and no longer available. Even the one that AT made to replace it is no longer available. This one fit perfectly and works great.
