LP Tunes AT-95SE AT 95SE AT95SE CARTRIDGE
The new LP Tunes AT95SE phono cartridge improves on the sonic achievement of the best inexpensive cartridge, the AT95E, by offering a higher level of natural sound quality with more fidelity, clarity and harmonic richness graced from the record grooves.
We use the same exact and proven AT95E cartridge body. The difference is the highly polished special elliptical diamond stylus with .0003 x .0007 inch scanning radii bonded to a thin wall Zualum cantilever which enables the rejuvenated unit to recover more fidelity and natural sound quality from the record grooves.

The Vessel A3SE cartridge

THE VESSEL A3SE CARTRIDGE Rated by Stereophile as Class B — in the same firmament as the Audio-Technica ART20 ($3,199), Benz Micro SLR Gullwing ($4,200); Dynavextor DV-20X2L ($1,250), Hana Umami Blue ($2,500), Lyra Delos ($2,495), Ortofon Cadenza Bronze ($2,599) and other celestial high-end cartridge brands and models.
"The entry-level version of The Vessel costs a bit more than the competition, but it offers a more refined sound profile. It’s the best bonded elliptical cartridge I’ve ever heard." - Tom Fine, "LP Gear Vessel Moving Magnet Cartridge System", Stereophile, December, 2025.
"The Vessel A3SE cartridge is an absolute world-beater at $99. To say I was wowed is a huge understatement, and I very clearly preferred The Vessel A3SE to a lot of $400 cartridges I have tried before. The presentation is slightly forward in perspective, with sound that is silky-smooth, rich, clean, precise and detailed, with beautiful tonality from deepest bass to highest treble. The superlatives just flow when describing it, just as beautiful music flows from this exceptional cartridge." - Don Lindich, Sound Advice Q&A Newspaper Column"1
"Experiencing the Vessel A3SE and its performance at the price is probably the most shocking experience I have had in 15 years of reviewing audio. There is a complete line of The Vessel cartridges and they can also be upgraded by changing the stylus, so it can grow with you when you upgrade to a new turntable. Given how great the A3SE sounds, I can only imagine what the more expensive models are like!"2
"Once again, I don't stop listening to my dear old vinyls (and I've got many 100s). The quality of sound with this cartridge is UNSURMOUNTED! (That is not English, is it?). Anyway, you catch my drift. I am 62 and have been through more than a few record players in my life, but this is "unheard of" (sorry for the silly pun). In short: WOW!"3
The Vessel A3SE is a wonderfully disruptive cartridge. Its generous, organic and natural Full Spectra Sound complements any type of music on your list. 4 The beautiful, natural tonal balance, richly harmonic presentation and spatial resolution convey sentience the energy beyond hearing, beyond listening hiding in the grooves of your vinyl. It's more than just the sound, The Vessel cartridge communicates the emotional content in the groove. You'll hear it, you'll feel it and experience it. The A3SE features a beautifully-made Super Elliptical diamond and uprated parts and materials handcrafted in Japan. Upgrading is as simple as swapping the stylus.

LP Tunes AT-95SA AT 95SA AT95SA CARTRIDGE
- Probably 10x better than the AT95E.
Renowned as
the best buy in cartridges and probably 10x better than the AT95E1, the LP Tunes AT95SA phono cartridge delivers pinnacle performance offering discerning listeners musical bounty impeccably graced from the record grooves by its highly polished Shibata diamond stylus. The LP Tunes AT95SA is designed for audiophile quality listening and for converting records to digital when the intent is to listen to digitized music as you would the original record or LP.
Developed by LP Tunes, the AT95SA phono cartridge is the culmination of over a year's research, development and testing of many styli and designs from various manufacturers. The critical and comparative advantage is the use of a newly reincarnated Shibata diamond each exquisitely polished with precision and then carefully mounted on a thin wall Zualum tubular cantilever for natural sound quality, long playing life and exceptional tracing of record grooves. Due to the Shibata's exceptional extractive capability, it was recommended for quadraphonic, quad, CD-4 audio systems and was used in highly acclaimed phono cartridges such as the Grace F9L, Stanton 881S, and Audio-Technica AT20SS. (In 2008, the Shibata diamond was employed by another cartridge manufacturer and is offering a cartridge of similar stature in excess of $700.00.)
The result supreme musical accuracy, harmonic purity and faithfulness to the original recording. While there are newer designs under different nomenclatures promising better parametric performance, we believe based on our ears and many others we trust that the Shibata-based LP Tunes AT95SA divines music with faithful accuracy, coherence and elegance.
Paul Szabady in
Stereotimes March, 2007 had this to say regarding the LP Tunes AT95SA phono cartridge.
"The LP Tunes AT95SA and its Shibata stylus gets you more high frequency detail and resolution, without any attendant artificial brightness or edge. High frequencies sound silky and sweet, yet still cast clarifying light on the frequencies below, sharpening timbral acuity and bringing out more detail and nuance of performance. The basic rhythmic skills of the AT95E are not compromised, are, in fact, improved, as the AT95SA sounds even quicker on its feet and is more capable of rendering subtleties of performance technique. The increase in bandwidth and resolution clarifies orchestral instrumental timbre significantly, thus making Classical LPs as communicative as Rock and Roll albums."
"The AT95SA becomes my reference for inexpensive cartridges."
