AUDIO-TECHNICA STUDIO REFERENCE SERIES 3003 PHONO CARTRIDGE

The 3003 phono cartridge is a model within the highly acclaimed Studio Reference Series representing one of Audio-Technica's finest P-mount T4P and Standard half-inch mountable phono cartridges. The Studio Reference Series are best known for their excellent musicality, outstanding value, high technology and reasonable price.

The Audio-Technica Studio Reference Series 3003 phono cartridge uses a highly polished special elliptical stylus to very accurately extract record groove information with a minimum of wear. Audio-Technica uses a thin-wall alloy tube cantilever (the hollow rod that extends from the cartridge to the diamond tip), for low mass, low resonance and high sensitivity. The Audio-Technica 3003 phono cartridge reproduces a wide, extended frequency response with low distortion. It offers excellent tracking at 1 - 1.5 grams, saving your LPs from undue wear. It fits P-mount or standard half-inch tonearms with the supplied adaptor.

The Studio Reference 3003 cartridge comes complete with installation instructions and mounting hardware for P-mount and half-inch standard tonearms. Originally packaged in a Red carton enclosed plastic case, this latest version was modernized with clamshell sealed packaging for long shelf life and excellent product protection. For excellent musicality, long playing life, and for minimum record wear, choose the Audio-Technica Studio Reference 3003 phono cartridge.

Carbon Fidelity is a bargain!

I’m not even going into details about how much money (thousands) I’ve spent on different phono cartridges with exotic stylus. Comparatively, the Carbon Fidelity CFN3600LE Stylus is an incredible bargain. Tracks very well, low surface noise, zero IGD and best of all sounds terrific. You really can’t go wrong!

Excellent sound quality

Life changing

I wish I was being dramatic
I didn’t want to pay for a new record player for my Billie Ellis vinyls
But I can listen to the songs clear as day now with this!! Okay, it skips sometimes as you would expect
But cheaper than getting a couple hundred dollar record player

Very nice upgrade.

I've had this for over 6 months, and I can report that it has much better bass, and treble than the original. Everything is very clean and detailed sounding. A few notable examples. I recently ordered Eva Cassidy Live Blues Alley 25th anniversary, 180gram, 45RPM. The soundstage is absolutely amazing. It is on the same level, if not surpasses MoFi Eric Clapton Unplugged SACD. My sister gifted me the soundtrack to Sinners on 180gram vinyl. I actually heard the soundtrack before I saw the movie. I didn't know vinyl could support so much bass. My room becomes fully pressurized with that soundtrack, backed by a SVS SB3000. Last would be Miles Davis Kind of Blue. I have this on 200gram 33/3RPM and MoFi SACD. I can hear tape hiss on both, and both sound very much the same. SACD wins on floor noise, but really not by much. My vinyl copy is also crazy clean sounding, but sonically sounding, they sound so close.
