78 RPM STYLUS FOR INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGY ITUT201 USB TURNTABLE

The LP Gear 78 RPM stylus for the Innovative Technology ITUT201 USB turntable features a 3.0 mil spherical diamond for accurate tracing of 78 RPM record grooves thus resulting in high fidelity and low noise reproduction of voice and music. The stylus is made in Japan.

To maintain the playback fidelity of your 78 record you really need to use a stylus designed for 78 RPM records. A very common misconception is that you can use a LP stylus for playing 78 records. This is one quick and sure way to damage the 78 record grooves. Moreover, the LP stylus is much narrower than the 78 record groove hence the tip will slide to the bottom of the groove where debris has collected for many decades. This results in extraordinarily high surface noise.

Excellent experience

I am always nervous to use a web site for the first time. However this was very easy and fast. Shipped as expected and works perfectly. Great customer service.

perfect replacement stylus

I have a shure V15 Type III series cartridge and was going to replace it with a newer model, but after replacing the stylus with the Jico stylus, my records sound great again. Thanks Jico!

I love your service it was quick and efficient now I'm looking for an amp for that turntable

A good addition to a turntable

I have seen something like this in years long past from another company. It works best if the top of your platter is 1 and 1/8 inches or more above the plinth (base) - that way the device will be parallel to the platter.
