The stylus for the Technosonic Golden Era Stereo features a highly polished conical diamond for long playing life, reduced record wear and good rendition of voice and music. The original stylus features a sapphire tip which has a very short playing life of less than 100 hours. A diamond tip can last up to 1,000 hours depending on playing conditions.
