When cinfigured with a cartridge, the Panasonic RD-2900 RD 2900 RD2900 turntable was factory fitted with a EPC-74STSD (Audio-Technica AT70/AT71) cartridge. The stylus replacement is EPS-74STSD (ATN70) . A photo of the improved version (with guard) is provided for your perusal. The color of the stylus may vary.
Replaced my 20+ yrs old Goldring phono cartridge w the same model and I can hear a vast improvement in overall sound quality from the new phono cartridge.

I’m not even going into details about how much money (thousands) I’ve spent on different phono cartridges with exotic stylus. Comparatively, the Carbon Fidelity CFN3600LE Stylus is an incredible bargain. Tracks very well, low surface noise, zero IGD and best of all sounds terrific. You really can’t go wrong!
