JICO replacement stylus for Shure V15 III-HE cartridge

After 6 - 10 hours play time on a Shure V15iii, I'm really enjoying this stylus. All music genres are sounding good and balanced, a bit on the beefy side, which I prefer.

It plays, it tracks, it sounds fine. I don't know what all the fuss is about. I think it is unjustified hype. I have this and also have the SAS/B version on two identical turntables side by side. Both needles sound exactly the same. Cheap needles give satisfactory performance for much less money. I can only hope the way more expensive JICO will last longer. But as far as performance, they do the job. Don't strain your budget if you don't have to IMO.

I now have better than twenty hours of listening with my new Jico V-15 Type Three HE from LP Tunes. I say “ three cheers”, for Jico’s V-15 Type Three. It sounded excellent from the start, and has continuously improved with play. Used first with a Dual 1229, then a Technics SL-5350, it provides strong bass, pleasing midrange and detailed treble. Better than my original Shure from 1974? Yes. In my opinion, it is definitely a worthy upgrade. If you’re fence sitting, I recommend you take the plunge.

This stylus is the perfect replacement for the Shure V15 type III HE.

My old Shure v15 type III cartridge sounds better than it did when it was new. I highly recommend the JICO Shure V15 type III-HE stylus from LP TUNEs.. Fast US shipping and very well packaged!
