LP TUNES STYLUS FOR KENWOOD KD-47F KD 47F KD47F TURNTABLE

The Kenwood KD-47F KD 47F KD47F turntable was fitted with a Kenwood V-68 V68 phono cartridge and a Kenwood N-68 N68 needle stylus. A photo of the stylus replacement is supplied above. The color of the stylus varies. Please verify and use this as a guide only since the cartridge and stylus may have been changed through the years.

Do not order this stylus if it looks different from what you have. It will not fit if the original cartridge is missing or has been changed. Please contact us if you need assistance or prefer a new cartridge. If possible, provide us with the markings on the existing cartridge and stylus (look for the brand and model number). Photos will be helpful.

An exclusive product from LP Tunes, this Nude stylus upgrade for the ST66D stylus offers more clarity, detail, and nuance beyond bonded styli. It allows the earnest listener to discover and enjoy more music.

The Nude Schwarz stylus (NSS) raises the bar in stylus performance. For over half a century, the traditional way to craft a stylus, which carries on still today, is to bond the stylus tip to a crown (metal shank) that in turn is bonded to the cantilever. The additional mass, and a different material element in between the diamond tip and cantilever, cause some loss of nuance in transmitting groove modulation from the tip to the cantilever. With the Schwarz edition, a nude diamond stylus (a whole diamond) is inserted, fastened and/or glued directly to the cantilever - banishing the need for the crown (metal shank).

Thus, you can hear higher fidelity and exhilarating sound quality in every NSS stylus that you install in your cartridge! The unencumbered polycrystalline diamond tip (for toughness and longer-playing life) directly traces the grooves for optimal retrieval of record groove modulation.
