STYLUS FOR FISHER MT-881A MT 881A MT881A TURNTABLE

The Fisher MT-881A MT 881A MT881A turntable was fitted with a Fisher MG-09 MG09 phono cartridge and a Fisher ST-09D ST09D needle stylus. A photo of the stylus replacement is supplied above. The stylus features a conical diamond for long playing life and good rendition of voice and music. The color of the stylus varies. Please verify and use this as a guide only since the cartridge and stylus may have been changed through the years.

For a stylus replacement that offers improved sound quality and performance, refer to the Related Products.

If the stylus above differs from what you have, then it means you no longer have the fitted cartridge. For us to assist you further, we need the cartridge brand and model number. This info is usually inscribed on the cartridge and stylus.

A notable boost in sound.

The new needle points out details I hadn't heard in my records with the stock equipment. The sound is much fuller and clearer. The new belt definitely steadied out the speed. If you own an AT-LP60 and aren't in the market to get a whole new turntable, this is the way to go.

Came as ordered and works great!

LP Tunes T4P SERIES III Phono Cartridge

SUPERB!

My AKG-P8ES was a legendary cartridge, but it was almost impossible to get a new stylus as good as the original. LPTunes solved that problem! The cartridge sings again — detail, nuance, soundstage, it has it all. Fit and finish are impeccable, the stylus fits the body as firmly as the fixed-stylus of a Moving Coil cartridge... and it tracks effortlessly at the original recommended 1g . I couldn't be happier — and I'm ordering styluses for two other cartridges: Stanton 881S and Technics 205CMk4. LPTunes is now my "go to" supplier.

42 Year Old Turntable?

Thanks too LP Tunes I’m up and running with my new Stylus!
