STYLUS FOR FISHER MT-228 MT 228 MT228 TURNTABLE

The Fisher MT-228 MT 228 MT228 turntable was fitted with a Fisher MG-09 MG09 phono cartridge and a Fisher ST-09D ST09D needle stylus. A photo of the stylus replacement is supplied above. The stylus features a conical diamond for long playing life and good rendition of voice and music. The color of the stylus varies. Please verify and use this as a guide only since the cartridge and stylus may have been changed through the years.

Do not order the above stylus if it looks different from what you have. Instead, take a look at the info and marking on the existing cartridge and stylus and provide these to us. We need the brand and model number. Photos will also be helpful.

If the cartridge is missing or you prefer a new cartridge, please contact us for recommended replacement cartridges.

Old records seem new again

Moving to the Jico n95 SAS/B from the original m95 elliptical stylus makes one want to listen to the emtire record collection again. Even with my full range open baffle setup I am now getting the high end sparkle that one expects. Pairs up perfectly with open baffle setup.

Improved the sound.

Thank you!

Hope I actually receive it…still waiting 😞

Tada!

I shy away from electronics problems, and I've been avoiding a peek at wiring difficult to get to, to see if that was the reason my turntable hasn't worked for a couple years or more.
I finally took the pad off the platter abd removed tge platter to find the belt was disintegrated! Ordered a new one, put it on, abd tada! My turntable works!
Next up: a new stylus, perhaps.

Not as pictured.

Don't get me wrong, I think the item is great, it's just not what was pictured. I was expecting to see your logo on the head shell.

A new life!

It was great to find a new styli for my old Audio Technica AT3500 cartridge, at a reasonable price. It brought new life to my vintage system.

Don't buy the #15 dollar replacement

Don't buy the $15 replacement stylus on eBay, it sounds like shit, this one sounds amazing
