The replacement for the Toshiba N-290D N290D stylus is used with the Toshiba C-290 C290 phono cartridge. The stylus features a highly polished conical diamond for long playing life and effective tracing of record grooves thus resulting in good rendition of voice and music.
Replaced my 20+ yrs old Goldring phono cartridge w the same model and I can hear a vast improvement in overall sound quality from the new phono cartridge.

Comparatively, the Carbon Fidelity CFN3600LE Stylus is an incredible bargain. Tracks very well, low surface noise, zero IGD and best of all sounds terrific. You really can’t go wrong!
