REPLACEMENT FOR SHURE N95-3 NEEDLE STYLUS (78 RPM STYLUS)

The replacement for the Shure N95-3 needle stylus is used with the Shure M95 series, Shure M905EX M911ED, and Realistic Shure RM950, and R9000 series cartridges. The stylus features a 3.0 mil polished diamond designed specifically for the correct tracing of the wide grooves of 78 RPM records. It results in minimal groove wear and accurate rendition of voice and music. The stylus is made in Japan by a world-class manufacturer with a reputation for crafting musically excellent and high-quality replacement styli.

A very common misconception is that you can use an LP stylus for playing 78 RPM records. This is one quick and sure way to damage the 78 RPM record grooves. To maintain the playback fidelity of your 78 record, you really need to use a stylus designed for 78 RPM records, otherwise with just a single playing, you could ruin the fidelity of the record grooves. Moreover, the LP stylus is much narrower than the 78 RPM record groove hence the tip will slide to the bottom of the groove where debris has collected for many decades. This results in extraordinarily high-surface noise.

Better than I thought

This JICO nude elliptical stylus is super good. I replaced the stylus on my Shure M44-7 which is more of a DJ cartridge and I didn't care much for a conical/spherical one that was on it. Everyone I talked to about a change recommended the N55 for it. It was a little pricey, and usually I'll buy a new cartridge instead of chance something I'm not familiar with, but I bit the bullet and ordered the N55 from the recommendations. To my surprise, it's one of the better sounding carts I have and that's saying a lot as I use Grado and Ortofon both in MM, and a Denon MC cart. Even not broken in, I was really impressed with it. So much so, I may resurrect my on M99E that's on one of my Dual's with a Jico nude stylus. This JICO stylus I bought is on my vintage Pioneer PL 518.

ViVid Line replacement for Shure m97xe cartridge

The stylus is amazing. The original stylus needed some adjustments. It was a bit harsh in the mid to higher. The new ViVid Line is awesome. No need to EQ needed. Everything pops out and doesn't cause fatigue. Nice lows, mids, and highs. If you what to replace/ update you Shure m97xe, this is it. Maybe a bit pricey but well worth it.

Perfect replacement

This replacement stylus has the same dimensions as the original, and fit perfectly. My vinyl records sounds wonderful now.

It's The Correct Belt.

Not much to say. The Previous belt became brittle and snapped, and I'm sure this one will too, one day. But for now, It's exactly what my record player needed.
