The replacement for the Pickering DL-2E DL2E needle stylus features a highly polished elliptical diamond for superb tracking and tracing of record grooves thus resulting in finer detail and harmonically complete sound quality. The color of the stylus varies.
This D5000 Shibata is better than the other vividline I tried. Better trackability and less sibilance(but not none). And to get there it needs a good 1.8-2.0 g of down force / vtf which is quite a bit higher than oem.

Rec'd needle in a few days. it was wrapped to protect the item. Unfortunately I had to return the needle, but the process was seemless. Highly recommend!!!
Not much to say except that I am hearing so much more from my collection of vinyl than I ever have before.
