REPLACEMENT FOR PICKERING D-1800S D 1800S D1800S NEEDLE STYLUS

The replacement for the Pickering D-1800S D1800S needle stylus is used with the Pickering XV1800S phono cartridge. The stylus features a highly polished Vivid Line Contact (VLC) diamond platinum bonded to a thin-wall hollow core aluminum alloy cantilever for superior tracing of record grooves, excellent rendition of voice and music and harmonically complete sound quality.

Pickering XV-625 cartridge fitted with a D1800S stylus

I just received my new D1800S stylus, it fitted my XV-15 625 cartridge nicely, I swapped out the aftermarket brush for my OEM horse hair brush, aligned it and set the tracking weight and anti skate, as the pictures show it has a good stance, rake and clearance. The sound is superb , rich with great detail. Perhaps better than I had hoped for! This a great upgrade for the Pickering XV-15 series cartridges!

Better than I thought

This JICO nude elliptical stylus is super good. I replaced the stylus on my Shure M44-7 which is more of a DJ cartridge and I didn't care much for a conical/spherical one that was on it. Everyone I talked to about a change recommended the N55 for it. It was a little pricey, and usually I'll buy a new cartridge instead of chance something I'm not familiar with, but I bit the bullet and ordered the N55 from the recommendations. To my surprise, it's one of the better sounding carts I have and that's saying a lot as I use Grado and Ortofon both in MM, and a Denon MC cart. Even not broken in, I was really impressed with it. So much so, I may resurrect my on M99E that's on one of my Dual's with a Jico nude stylus. This JICO stylus I bought is on my vintage Pioneer PL 518.

ViVid Line replacement for Shure m97xe cartridge

The stylus is amazing. The original stylus needed some adjustments. It was a bit harsh in the mid to higher. The new ViVid Line is awesome. No need to EQ needed. Everything pops out and doesn't cause fatigue. Nice lows, mids, and highs. If you what to replace/ update you Shure m97xe, this is it. Maybe a bit pricey but well worth it.
