REPLACEMENT FOR PFANSTIEHL 767-DHE 767DHE NEEDLE STYLUS

The replacement for the Pfanstiehl 767-DHE 767DHE needle stylus is used with the Shure M95HE phono cartridge. It can also be used to upgrade the sound quality of other Shure M95 series cartridges. The stylus features a highly polished hyperelliptical diamond for excellent tracing of record grooves, long playing life, and very accurate rendition of recorded voice, music and harmonics.

Very nice stylus...frustrating pricing.

I'm a big fan of the CFN95SE...it's a significant upgrade of the stuck AT-LP120 stylus, and the latest one I received sounded broken-in straight out of the box.

Unfortunately, it was also significantly more expensive than the last one I'd bought just nine months ago, which was $49.99. A 20% price hike in such short a time is pretty extreme. Five stars for the stylus...one star for that price hike!

Great cartridge!

The solid low end was a surprise! I generally feel 2 gram tracking force is a bit high but am going with it as specified. I do a lot of LP to digital conversions and this cartridge tracks well on older worn LPs with little inner grove distortion. I did do a realignment as the cartridge/headshell as received was a bit off. The sound is unremarkable which is to say neutral which is a pleasant change from cartridges I’ve used in the past! Overall a great performer especially at this price point. Definitely recommended!
