I'm a pretty new record collector. To get started, I purchased a vintage Sony PS-LX2 at the thrift store and replaced it's original stylus with this. Then I set the counterweight, the tracking force and made sure the cartridge was aligned - low and behold - great sounding Music!
I was having a problem finding a drive belt for my turntable. A friend recommended LP Tunes. Within a week I had my drive belt, installed it, and my turntable is working like new again! So glad I took his advice!
The old turntable is back in action and bringing much joy.
As a lover of classical music from the late 1960's on and with a large LP collection, this stylus has brought such back to life -- really sounds good. Thanks!
The vivid line styli I received sounds very similar to the original stereohedron tip. Setup is critical. Overall very pleased.
Got this to replace the stylus on my 44 year old Pioneer turntable. I am very happy, and excited about the noticable improvement in sound quality. We have been venturing back into vinyl, and wanted to utilize my old turntable from back in the day. This simple stylus replacement made that feasible!
