Nice Increase in Detail

I got this elliptical stylus to replace the N-48 conical stylus on a Kenwood KD-2000 turntable that someone had given me for helping them set up a sound system. I replaced the belt and got a Fosi Audio Box X2 tube-type pre-amp off Amazon. This stylus definitely picks up more of the nuance and detail in the music, and the setup makes my albums sound fantastic through headphones. I’m very happy with this even though it ended up costing me about $90 Canadian after converting the purchase price, shipping and duty to CAD funds.

I’d recently replaced the Shure stylus in my Rowe1-5 with a Swiss brand and it immediately had issues , though it seemed to fit correctly.
