The upgrade kit for the Sony PS-LX300USB turntable seriously improves the clarity, detail, sound quality and musicality of the factory supplied PS-LX300USB turntables.
The kit is composed of an advanced (9-885-210-05 (US)/ 988521107 (European part number)) elliptical stylus upgrade featuring a highly polished special elliptical diamond with .0003 x .0007 inch tracing radii bonded to a special carbon fiber cantilever to refract the record grooves with exceptional precision thus resulting in better accuracy, natural tonality, spatial detail and crystal clean sound. You can keep the factory installed stylus that came with the turntable as backup. The unique LP GEAR Super Vivid Line belt™ for the Sony PS-HX500 is made from a material far superior to that found in typical belts, providing a great latitude to seriously enhance the performance of your turntable. The acoustical performance increase derives from higher torque, consistent rotational speed, longevity, and reduced resonance transmitted into the platter, record and phono cartridge. Do not order this stylus if, aside from color, the stylus looks different from what you have. It will not fit if the 9-885-210-05 Sony stylus is missing or has been changed. Please contact us if you need assistance or prefer a new cartridge. If possible, provide us with the markings on the existing cartridge and stylus (look for the brand and model number).
