The LP Tunes S906 (Black with or without guard depending on availability) is the stylus specified replacement for the Empire 999 XE/X 999 XE/ X phono cartridge. It features a highly polished special elliptical diamond with a .0003 x .0007 inch scanning radii mounted on a thin-wall aluminum alloy tube. It offers long playing life and superb tracing characteristics and results in very good rendition of voice and music. The color of the stylus may vary from the photo.

Mom’s old cartridge is alive!!

I wanted to restore my mom’s old Shure RXT-4 (Radio Shack version of the M97ED) and this stylus is just perfect!! I never imagined how beautiful this cartridge with this stylus could sound! Warm mellow melodies for Jazz and Classical! Very well balanced!! Love it! I pair it with my Technics SL-1200Mk2 and SL-D2
