Is this cartridge’s output volume considerably lower than of a say, shure m-44? i’m experience a good sound overall, pretty much what i was expecting, but at a much lower volume. i’m having to increase around 25-30% the knob to achieve similar results.

A brilliant sounding cartridge with a crystal clear dynamic
Going with a pre-mount saved me time and hassle but the biggest advantage was the overall improvement in sound. Bass is more present but tight and clear - never muddy. Highs are brighter and crystal clear without being shrill and Mid-tones are perfectly positioned to add warmth. Tracking is absolutely rock solid. This is an amazing cartridge. Also, thanks to the folks at LP Tunes for their amazing customer service!

Don't be concerned about the low price, this combo easily surpasses combo's at twice the price, and it's not even broke in yet. Buy it.
