LP GEAR ATN95MR PENULTIMATE STYLUS
- High-Grade stylus for Audio-Technica AT95 and compatible cartridges

The Audio-Technica ATN95E was the stylus replacement for the highly rated AT95E cartridge that has been discontinued - victims of the consumer electronics product life cycle where the product life cycle is around 2-3 years which means a product has to be revised or updated every two years or so. On one side, this is beneficial to the industry and consumers since it forces constant research and innovation. On the other hand, it is wasteful and counterproductive. This fosters short-term quality and product thinking - products that have a short-term life on the shelf. They break or sound old after a few years!

New High-Grade stylus ATN95MR stylus for ultimate expression of the AT95E cartridge

Special precision polished nude Micro Ridge diamond tip for supreme fidelity
 MicroRidge tip dimensions: 2.5µm × 75µm
 Long lasting performance and durability
Low-mass alloy cantilevered fulcrum for groove tracing accuracy and fidelity
LP GEAR® stylus - Above and beyond originals, copies and generics

AT LP GEAR®, our philosophy runs counter to corporate convention. We believe that products created for perfection should last a lifetime of enjoyment or much longer like the Guarneri violin. Older than the USA— 273 years old to be exact, the Vieuxtemps Guarneri Del Gesu-1741 named for its most famous owner, the leading Belgian virtuoso and composer who esteemed it so much he wanted to be buried with it, recently became the most expensive violin in the world, selling for an estimated $16 million. Its new owner anonymously donated the historic instrument to violinist Anne Akiko Meyers, on loan for the rest of her life.

Thus we curated the N95MR stylus as testament of our esteem for the Audio-Technica 95E cartridge so devoted owners will continue to hear this gem at its best for many decades to come. It is a lofty goal — we believe its new soul transcends its former self. It has incredible chemistry that is heard, felt and enjoyed!

See this customer review: "I am so impressed with the sound of this stylus...it is quite literally a jaw dropping different experience in clarity and air over my seven year old LP Gear highly acclaimed ATN95SA stylus it replaced. It was just so easy to snap on a new stylus vs. aligning a whole new LOMC cartridge as I’m now very satisfied with the supreme music fidelity of the nude micro ridge diamond ATN95MR for my Thorens TD-309 turntable. I think you’d be as happy as I am having this if you already own the original AT95 cartridge!" 1

Carbon Fidelity is a bargain!

I’m not even going into details about how much money (thousands) I’ve spent on different phono cartridges with exotic stylus. Comparatively, the Carbon Fidelity CFN3600LE Stylus is an incredible bargain. Tracks very well, low surface noise, zero IGD and best of all sounds terrific. You really can’t go wrong!

Excellent sound quality

Life changing

I wish I was being dramatic
I didn’t want to pay for a new record player for my Billie Ellis vinyls
But I can listen to the songs clear as day now with this!! Okay, it skips sometimes as you would expect
But cheaper than getting a couple hundred dollar record player

Very nice upgrade.

I've had this for over 6 months, and I can report that it has much better bass, and treble than the original. Everything is very clean and detailed sounding. A few notable examples. I recently ordered Eva Cassidy Live Blues Alley 25th anniversary, 180gram, 45RPM. The soundstage is absolutely amazing. It is on the same level, if not surpasses MoFi Eric Clapton Unplugged SACD. My sister gifted me the soundtrack to Sinners on 180gram vinyl. I actually heard the soundtrack before I saw the movie. I didn't know vinyl could support so much bass. My room becomes fully pressurized with that soundtrack, backed by a SVS SB3000. Last would be Miles Davis Kind of Blue. I have this on 200gram 33/3RPM and MoFi SACD. I can hear tape hiss on both, and both sound very much the same. SACD wins on floor noise, but really not by much. My vinyl copy is also crazy clean sounding, but sonically sounding, they sound so close.
