The Audio-Technica ATN95E was the stylus replacement for the highly rated AT95E cartridge that has been discontinued - victims of the consumer electronics product life cycle where the product life cycle is around 2-3 years which means a product has to be revised or updated every two years or so. On one side, this is beneficial to the industry and consumers since it forces constant research and innovation. On the other hand, it is wasteful and counterproductive. This fosters short-term quality and product thinking - products that have a short-term life on the shelf. They break or sound old after a few years!

Do not order this stylus if it looks different (aside from color) from what you have. It will not fit if the original cartridge is missing or has been changed. Please contact us if you need assistance or prefer a new cartridge. If possible, provide us with the markings on the existing cartridge and stylus (look for the brand and model number).
