SUPER ANALOGUE STYLUS REPLACEMENT FOR SHURE N-95ED N95ED N 95ED STYLUS

The JICO SAS replacement for the Shure N-95ED stylus elevates the cartridge to its pinnacle performance and sound quality. The SAS tips are produced using a natural octahedral single-crystal diamond with the most advanced electronic engineering technology. The cantilever is made of special aluminum alloy tube and boron for extremely efficient transmission of vibrations. Rare earth metals with excellent electromagnetic conductivity compose the magnet for the stylus.

  1. Compatible with wider and deeper grooves (Micro Groove).
  2. The diamond tip consists of a meticulously selected natural single-crystal octahedron. Precision work on the crystal allows for a wide range of grooves. The Super Analogue Stylus can safely be used on recent records which tend to have deeper grooves and with 30-280 micron grooves opposed to the simple conventional 30-80 micron.
  3. Ultra precision thinness and configuration results in supreme sound reproduction.
  4. The stylus tip is of optimum height and a uniformly ultra-precision finish. The Super Analogue Stylus has a curvature with a smaller radius that was impossible with the Micro Ridge Stylus. As thin as a razor blade and machined with ultra precision, the stylus tip ensures unsurpassed fidelity.
  5. Reduced distortion caused by needle abrasion.
  6. The Super Analogue Stylus tip eliminates lateral and frontal abrasion. Since the curvature radius does not change, the stylus accurately traces without missing any delicate signals. This makes it perfect for reproducing high frequencies and wide dynamic range which require a highly precise radius for tracking the inner record grooves!
  7. Polished finish that virtually preserves your record's grooves.
  8. World-class polishing technique is used on each stylus. This is designed to preserve the details of the record groove structure for a very long time virtually for the life of the vinyl.
  9. Extreme quality testing with emphasis on performance.
  10. Stringent quality inspections and tests using unique and high level technology are performed on all materials and at every level from the manufacture of parts that transmit vibrations to the cartridge (the cantilever, magnet and wire) to the final assembly by skilled artisans.

Beware of counterfeits! There is only one Jico distributor in the US, Canada and all of the Americas: LP Tunes. A Jico stylus comes in Jico packaging or with Jico US engraved on the stylus. All others are selling styli of unknown origin and quality. Contact us to verify the authenticity of the claimed Jico stylus before buying.

Old records seem new again

Moving to the Jico n95 SAS/B from the original m95 elliptical stylus makes one want to listen to the emtire record collection again. Even with my full range open baffle setup I am now getting the high end sparkle that one expects. Pairs up perfectly with open baffle setup.

JICO SAS stylus for Shure M-95

Compared to the regular JICO elliptical stylus, the SAS boron cantilever is considerably thinner and fragile looking, so be careful with installation and adjustment. Sound-wise, the SAS is clearly the better stylus. There is a lot more detail apparent with the SAS. Surface noise is noticeably lower, and there is no, or at least much less, high end frequency rolloff. Inner groove distortion is nonexistent, although this was never a problem with the elliptical stylus either. Worth considering if you have a table that will do it justice.

Fantastic Cartridge Upgrade

I bought a vintage direct drive Pioneer PL-510S that came with a 50 year old cartridge. It sounded like an AM radio. After mounting the Nagoaka 110H, the bottom filled in and a warmth I was seeking was audibly apparent. It was more than worth the investment.

Turntable

It was quick and easy to purchase a replacment belt for my Project 1.2 turntable.

Brilliant!

I bought this based on reviews I read here and elsewhere and I recommend this cartridge highly. You hear everything with this one. It sounds just as good as the Linn Addikt on another turntable. It really is exceptional and there is no need to spend more IMHO.

Beogram TX-2

Great direct replacement for my TX-2.

Arrived on time, worked great.

LP Gear is a wonderful niche business!

I recently went on a bit of a stylus bender since bending my very costly Jico SAS B (for my Shure v15iv). I purchased a replacement, which after tarrifs came to nearly $400! I styli'd up for all my ortofons and shares so that A) I had good, new styli for my records' health, but also for better sound. I got LP Gear's house branded replacement styli for my vintage Ortofon VMS carts and my 2 Shures.
One thing I asked for, the LpGear branded stylus appeared to be identical to the Jico "budget" solution that LPGear offered for $20 more. I asked if some of their house branded offerings were OEM from Jico. I never heard. Based on this, and the fact that the images for the LPGear and the Jico on the web page were identical (one was rotated 180 deg), I concluded that the LPGear is likely a Jico. I didn't get a reply. :( But overall I'm thrilled with the purchases and the service. I highly recommend.
