SAS Tip
The tip of the Super Analog Stylus is carefully chosen from single-crystal natural diamonds. The laser-cut diamond closely resembles that of the cutting stylus used on a cutting lathe to produce the acetate master disks used in vinyl production. This allows the SAS tip to extract from the contours and recesses of the record groove details which were previously missed by other stylus profiles. Due to its wide contact area with the groove wall, the SAS can reproduce a more expansive bandwidth of information with higher fidelity. Kindly note that Jico changed the packaging only mid-production hence the differnt photos.

Cantilever
The four facets of SAS/R’s crystalline ruby cantilever taper toward the diamond tip. This tapered ruby cantilever design allows for lower moving mass, giving the SAS/R even greater ability reproduce vibrations in the record groove with precision, accuracy, speed, and fidelity. Tracking force: 1.25 ±0.25g.

NOTE: The VN5MR and VN5xMR are NOT interchangeable. Please confirm your cartridge / stylus number and select the suitable stylus.

Very nice upgrade.

I've had this for over 6 months, and I can report that it has much better bass, and treble than the original. Everything is very clean and detailed sounding. A few notable examples. I recently ordered Eva Cassidy Live Blues Alley 25th anniversary, 180gram, 45RPM. The soundstage is absolutely amazing. It is on the same level, if not surpasses MoFi Eric Clapton Unplugged SACD. My sister gifted me the soundtrack to Sinners on 180gram vinyl. I actually heard the soundtrack before I saw the movie. I didn't know vinyl could support so much bass. My room becomes fully pressurized with that soundtrack, backed by a SVS SB3000. Last would be Miles Davis Kind of Blue. I have this on 200gram 33/3RPM and MoFi SACD. I can hear tape hiss on both, and both sound very much the same. SACD wins on floor noise, but really not by much. My vinyl copy is also crazy clean sounding, but sonically sounding, they sound so close.

Feedback on Turntable Belt Purchase

We ordered a turntable belt from Japan last month and would like to share our feedback.

Although we already owned the turntable unit, we had been experiencing speed issues with belts available in Japan, which made proper playback difficult. After using your product, the speed accuracy improved significantly and resolved the issue.

As a result, we have been able to enjoy our records properly and have even started purchasing and listening to more records.

This ViVid Line stylus is great!

I first tried it with the brush attached. The brush does introduce soft swishing noises that are more noticable with headphones. So, as recommended, I removed the brush and readjusted the VTF to 1.25 grams. Now the sound floor is quiet, and all is well!

Good replacement for a very old stylus.

The AT stylus on my old Sansui turntable was probably decades old, and no longer available. Even the one that AT made to replace it is no longer available. This one fit perfectly and works great.
