This stylus has brought my Shure V15 cartridge back from the dead. It sounds just like I remember. I have the tracking set at 1g and it is tracking great with no issues.
My husband is very happy with the JICO-VN 35HE stylus.
High quality Stylus worth every penny. Not as good as the SAS but very clear all over sound.
I must say the stylus surpassed my expectations in every way. It tracks at 1.25 grams, great control of sibilants, excellent performance at inner grooves, practically no IGD. Low surface noise. Mounted on modified Fluance RT-84. Shure V15VxMR with original stylus sounds pretty bland and unexciting compared to V15 III with this stylus. If needs careful setup, though, to sound at top of potential.
It's been quite a while since I replaced the stylus on my V15 type III equipped Technics SL-Q2 turntable. In fact, the stylus I was replacing was a Shure VN35HE bought at a Radio Shack many years ago. My ears are getting pretty old, but it's really nice to hear some of my old records sounding like they used to. A huge improvement over the worn out Shure. And I think the $99 price is probably less than the inflation adjusted price I used to pay at Radio Shack. This is a bargain that makes my old records come alive! While CDs are easier, there are memories in those pops and clicks. :-)
Sounds nice, certainly better than the worn original stylus on my Shure V15 III.
Received authentic Jico stylus quickly. Huge improvement over my previous no name ebay stylus. Sounds good and tracks well.
