The N44C stylus performs well with its polished 0.7 mil conical diamond tip while providing the user with long playing life and accuracy.

Punchy and warm

I have this stylus mounted on an M44E and it has a lot of strengths - great dynamics, strong bass, and a great midrange. Overall I really like it on pop and rock records where it sounds warm and punchy, and its slight lack lack of high end detail helps reduce brightness. It is quiet on less than perfect records and tracks well on my turntable at 2.6 grams. With the M44 and M55 cartridges I get the best results with a capacitive loading a little above 500 pF.

Exact fit and sounds on par if not better than the old stylus. Just took forever to get here. Sorry, but next time I will look for a store closer to my location.

1977 Turntable

I bought an Hitachi turntable 2nd hand in 1977 in NZ. The original belt just broke this year! I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to find a replacement anywhere. Then I found LP Tunes. Found a PS 8 belt, ordered it and it arrived in NZ in under a week! Works perfectly. Thanks LPT.
