SORA-Light is a lightweight type of high-resolution earphone that optimizes the balance between the high-grade woofer and more efficient VST (Vertical Support Tweeter) used in the previous SORA model. While retaining the sound that was achieved with “SORA” earphones without tiring and listening fatigue even after long hours of listening, the body has been further lightened to reduce physical fatigue when worn.
FEATURES
● New VST (Vertical Support Tweeter). A highly efficient laminated ceramic element is further improved and affixed to a highly rigid Ni alloy diaphragm. By supporting the diaphragm in a vertical manner, we were able to change the piercing highs unique to ceramic into warm and gentle highs, just like SORA. The SORA series are made in China and quality is checked in Japan. All products imported from China, upon arrival in Japan, are opened, meticulously QC checked, repackaged by Intime engineers and then shipped to the world.
● Simple structure. The front enclosure is made of brass, which is said to be suitable for high-fidelity reproduction, and the rear enclosure is made of resin to reduce weight. In addition, the earpiece has an acoustically tuned earpiece. ● The earpiece is made by Acoustune® AET07. The earpiece is made by Japanese company Acoustune®, product name AET07, which is known for its comfortable fit and sound quality. It reproduces clear sound over the entire area of the body. Intime uses two-way core driver units for sound into the earphones. Their innovation is in the use Piezo ceramic as material for tweeter units. Piezo is utilized as fish sensor on fishing boats to apply ultra sonic. This device applies very high frequency sound efficiency. Piezo ceramic is also used for cellphones speakers before smartphones. But one major weakness is low frequency sound output. Therefore, Intime added a dynamic woofer driver to support LOW frequency output and used a Piezo ceramic tweeter focus to be used for Mid and High for earphones. Together with a sound refraction shield to control diffusion and frequency time arrival, Intime earphones direct the sound straight to the ears for a very balanced sound quality.
