I recently purchased a Teac TN 4D direct drive turntable that came with a Sumiko factory-fitted Oyster cartridge, the player is great for the money but the stylus on the cart was lacking. The original Oyster cart put me very much in mind of the budget cartridges that were available in the 70s, with a pleasing sound but lacking spice. I purchased the Oyster upgrade from LP Tunes in an attempt to improve on the sound as I like the Oyster very much but wanted a little more. This cartridge has been very successful, I was able to easily slot it into the original and the overall impression is of more depth, more space, and overall a more engaging and musical presentation. I do not hesitate to recommend this upgrade and may even upgrade again to the next level in the future. If you have an Oyster and you like it then do not hesitate to try this, the results are worth the price. I live in the UK and shipping was fast. Thank you LP. tunes.
