Original Empire replacement for the Empire S-45E needle stylus features a highly polished elliptical diamond bonded to a thin-wall aluminum alloy cantilever. It offers long playing life and precision tracing of record grooves thus resulting in very fine detail, clarity and harmonically rich sound quality. The color of the stylus varies.
Replaced my 20+ yrs old Goldring phono cartridge w the same model and I can hear a vast improvement in overall sound quality from the new phono cartridge.

I’m not even going into details about how much money (thousands) I’ve spent on different phono cartridges with exotic stylus. Comparatively, the Carbon Fidelity CFN3600LE Stylus is an incredible bargain. Tracks very well, low surface noise, zero IGD and best of all sounds terrific. You really can’t go wrong!
