VIVID LINE UPGRADE REPLACEMENT FOR EMPIRE S2000E/III STYLUS

The ViVid Line upgrade replacement for the Empire S2000E/III needle stylus is used with the Empire 2000E/III and other models within the series. The stylus features a highly polished ViVid Line Contact diamond bonded to a thin-wall Zualum cantilever for natural sound quality, long playing life and superior tracing of record grooves. This stylus offers extraordinary fine detail, superb clarity and exquisite sound quality.

Resurrected Empire S2000/EIII

Original stylus was shot. New Vivid Line replacement stylus sounds wonderful. Tracking well at @1.5 grams. Much cleaner highs than my Ortofon FF15XE. Nice to be enjoying vinyl again. Great stuff. Now for my XSV-3000.

Sounds great, with a caveat...

As the title suggests, this stylus sounds very good. But it is lacking in the very highest registers (tinkling sleighbells, watch chimes, etc). Until it is inserted into a 66 series or one of its many clones, then that upper register comes alive. Empire made 2000s with at least 2 different electrical specs, those around 500 ohms impedance, and those around 1000 ohms. The 1000 ohms models suffer high treble loss, while the lower inductance/impedance models do not.

Vivid line for the win

This is my first stylus, but it sounds-incredible and tracks really well. I hear a lot of the details from my records.

Roksan Radius 5.2 Turntable Replacement Belt

Unfortunately the belt was not correct, but LP Tunes made it right

The belt was thinner than the OEM belt, and ran at 32.1 rpm, I contacted LP Tunes and the refunded my payment this morning.

Great service. Hopefully they will review their belts for the Roksan Radius and in future they will work accurately. Can’t ask for more than this though, they cannot own every turntable.
