EARJOY YURI-RD (Red) supersonic earphones — UNDIGITAL

YURI is the Japanese word for the flower Lily (Lilium), a genus of herbaceous flowering plants growing from bulbs, all with large prominent flowers. The Lily flower symbolizes purity and refined beauty. YURI is around the Manga girl in the product package.

In seeking to offer sound realism, Earjoy™ sought to reproduce the natural sound of its original source – not as it is observed, documented, coded and then re-presented. We believe natural sound is the sound everyone should experience and enjoy.

Our counterparts advocate with their corporate zeal and coffers that the human ear can only hear from 20Hz to 20,000Hz. This has resulted in corporate decisions for human kind to limit music reproduction to that range! This has resulted in the widespread production and adoption of devices for the digital ear. Digital sound is like an artifical plant or flower. No matter how you create it, brand it, re-name it, it is still fake!

At Earjoy™ we are UNDIGITAL. We produce for the human ear. Thus the rationale for the Supersonic Frequency Response (SSFR) of our earphones — the first of several undigital devices to follow.

Thus too our choice for wired over and above wireless and Bluetooth.

In search of a manufacturing partner, we decided on Japan over the many Asian choices. Our first criterion over any other is perfection or to be more elaborative — manufacturing excellence and craftsmanship. Our earphones are designed, manufactured and packaged in an artisanal, small factory deep inside a mountainside in Japan. The Earjoy team is all-Japanese with one exception—her founder is American.

Musicians and composers desire accurate recording and reproduction. They strive for complete reproduction of their art. Each earjoy earphone honors and plays the musician's artistic work in its purity. All else is artifice. All else is discarded.

Excellent sound quality

Life changing

I wish I was being dramatic
I didn’t want to pay for a new record player for my Billie Ellis vinyls
But I can listen to the songs clear as day now with this!! Okay, it skips sometimes as you would expect
But cheaper than getting a couple hundred dollar record player

Very nice upgrade.

I've had this for over 6 months, and I can report that it has much better bass, and treble than the original. Everything is very clean and detailed sounding. A few notable examples. I recently ordered Eva Cassidy Live Blues Alley 25th anniversary, 180gram, 45RPM. The soundstage is absolutely amazing. It is on the same level, if not surpasses MoFi Eric Clapton Unplugged SACD. My sister gifted me the soundtrack to Sinners on 180gram vinyl. I actually heard the soundtrack before I saw the movie. I didn't know vinyl could support so much bass. My room becomes fully pressurized with that soundtrack, backed by a SVS SB3000. Last would be Miles Davis Kind of Blue. I have this on 200gram 33/3RPM and MoFi SACD. I can hear tape hiss on both, and both sound very much the same. SACD wins on floor noise, but really not by much. My vinyl copy is also crazy clean sounding, but sonically sounding, they sound so close.

Feedback on Turntable Belt Purchase

We ordered a turntable belt from Japan last month and would like to share our feedback.

Although we already owned the turntable unit, we had been experiencing speed issues with belts available in Japan, which made proper playback difficult. After using your product, the speed accuracy improved significantly and resolved the issue.

As a result, we have been able to enjoy our records properly and have even started purchasing and listening to more records.

We appreciate the quality of your product. When the belt wears out in the future, we plan to purchase from you again :)

Perfect fit. Sounds great!

This ViVid Line stylus is great!

I first tried it with the brush attached. The brush does introduce soft swishing noises that are more noticable with headphones. So, as recommended, I removed the brush and readjusted the VTF to 1.25 grams. Now the sound floor is quiet, and all is well!
