Ordered a Goldring replacement stylus. Got it in timely fashion and it works great. I wasn't sure it had shipped (AI silliness) but one email later and i got the tracking number. I’ll be back
The stylus I received has a metal strand coming off of the back of the stylus arm. I reluctantly used it and the sound was terrible. Customer service claims it was not there when they shipped it. There is no evidence of it being attached after it was manufactured, it is coming directly off of the stylus. Would not recommend these products. Save your money and buy a reputable high quality stylus. I tried to buy a JICO they have advertised, but they say they do not sell them anymore. They recommended their poor quality LP Tunes in house brand as a substitute. Felt like a bait and switch.
This was not bait and switch. Bait and switch occurs when a customer is asked to buy something more expensive, and that was absolutely not the case here. Customer was issued a return authorization and instead chose to post a negative review instead of returning the item.
