Could the Audio-Technica ATH-CK7 be the best inexpensive earphones? Yes, these are real bad, badboys. Move over Shure and Etymotic. Comfort is 9.5/10. Sound is 9/10. Looks is really bad at 9.50/10. Our listening experience indicates that the Audio-Technica ATH-CK7 earphones offer musicality way beyond its peers. Please note that these earphones require about 80-100 hours of use before they will reveal their high performance status.

Imported from Japan, the Audio-Technica ATH-CK7 earphones offer four compelling advantages over other products:

  • Musicality and accuracy — the competency that has made Audio-Technica the choice of major recording artists and audio professionals worldwide. With the ATH-CK7 you can listen for long periods without listening fatigue.
  • Legendary quality, consistency, durability and value
  • Seamless sound isolation and background noise reduction via in-ear design
  • Titanium construction to minimize structural resonances and for durability, light weight and portability

Audio-Technica ATH-CK7's in-ear design forms an acoustic seal that blocks background noise and provides direct sound transmission for increased fidelity at lower volume.

Superior design, advanced engineering and high performance materials are used throughout thus allowing you to hear and enjoy the true fidelity of your source electronics and recording. The outer shell uses titanium to minimize minute resonance that can degrade sound quality. Titanium is also durable and light weight thus ideal for portability. 11 mm drivers deliver tight, deep and realistic bass, extended treble and high fidelity. Rare-earth neodymium magnets offer maximum sound quality and minimum size. Gold-plated mini plug provides exceptional corrosion resistance, superb signal transfer due to high conductivity and low noise. For custom fit, three interchangeable earpieces are included in the package.

The Audio-Technica ATH-CK7 earphones can be used with all audio sources with splendid results. Their size and portability are optimally designed for use with portable devices such as MP3 players, iPod, laptops, CD and DVD players, and in-flight entertainment systems.

LP Tunes CARBON FIDELITY CFN3600LE Stylus

Carbon Fidelity is a bargain!

I’m not even going into details about how much money (thousands) I’ve spent on different phono cartridges with exotic stylus. Comparatively, the Carbon Fidelity CFN3600LE Stylus is an incredible bargain. Tracks very well, low surface noise, zero IGD and best of all sounds terrific. You really can’t go wrong!

Excellent sound quality

Life changing

I wish I was being dramatic
I didn’t want to pay for a new record player for my Billie Ellis vinyls
But I can listen to the songs clear as day now with this!! Okay, it skips sometimes as you would expect
But cheaper than getting a couple hundred dollar record player

Very nice upgrade.

I've had this for over 6 months, and I can report that it has much better bass, and treble than the original. Everything is very clean and detailed sounding. A few notable examples. I recently ordered Eva Cassidy Live Blues Alley 25th anniversary, 180gram, 45RPM. The soundstage is absolutely amazing. It is on the same level, if not surpasses MoFi Eric Clapton Unplugged SACD. My sister gifted me the soundtrack to Sinners on 180gram vinyl. I actually heard the soundtrack before I saw the movie. I didn't know vinyl could support so much bass. My room becomes fully pressurized with that soundtrack, backed by a SVS SB3000. Last would be Miles Davis Kind of Blue. I have this on 200gram 33/3RPM and MoFi SACD. I can hear tape hiss on both, and both sound very much the same. SACD wins on floor noise, but really not by much. My vinyl copy is also crazy clean sounding, but sonically sounding, they sound so close.
