78 RPM REPLACEMENT FOR TEAC STL-650 STL 650 STL650 STYLUS

The 78 RPM replacement for the Teac STL-650 STL650 stylus features a 3.0 mil polished diamond mounted on an aluminum cantilever. It is designed specifically for the correct tracing of the wide grooves of 78 RPM records. It results in minimal groove wear and accurate rendition of voice and music. The stylus is made in Japan by one of the most reputable and highest quality replacement stylus manufacturers in the world.

A very common misconception is that you can use an LP stylus for playing 78 RPM records. This is one quick and sure way to damage the 78 RPM record grooves. To maintain the playback fidelity of your 78 record, you really need to use a stylus designed for 78 RPM records, otherwise with just a single playing, you could ruin the fidelity of the record grooves. Moreover, the LP stylus is much narrower than the 78 RPM record groove hence the tip will slide to the bottom of the groove where debris has collected for many decades. This results in extraordinarily high surface noise.

Excellent!

The AT-VM540ML is excellent! It improves on the AT-440MLb, which I have been using for the last 2 years. It has better bass, smoother highs, and truly superb tracking. If you've been using the 440 and you're wondering if it's worth it to get the 540, go for it!

Great Needles

I am using two shure M44-7 with the Jico stylus and they work great. I am a scratch DJ and this replacement needle works great for scratching and DVS! Thanks

JICO N44-7 No: 1924-447/DJ

I recently received a pair of the JICO N44-7 needle replacements and I want to give my honest feedback. I have been a DJ for the past 21years for a majority of that time my go to needle was the SHURE M44-7 for it's performance and sound quality. I am a scratch/ Turntablist enthusiast so you should know my needles get put through the ringer. I need my needles to not only sound good but minimize skipping and record wear. With SHURE discontinuing their needle production I was under the impression that it would come down to changing my needle preference . After trying a few off brand replacements and being highly disappointed the JICO name was brought to my attention. I did the research and was pleased to hear about the high quality standards and accolades JICO has received. Upon receiving the JICO N44-7 needles I put them straight to the test the needles sound amazing and they hold the groove reducing the likelihood of skipping with no record wear. They perform just as good if not better than the original SHURE needles. I am so impressed I released a quick demo video on my youtube page feel free to take a look ..https://youtu.be/QlbMBnmkqpU .Thank you again for allowing me to demo the needles I highly recommend the JICO product. ...CJ SCRATCH ....
