The Grado MC+ cartridge uses a three-piece OTL cantilever technology, oxygen free wire in the coils and a specially designed, highly polished elliptical diamond mounted in a brass bushing.

The Grado MCZ stylus for the highly regarded Joseph Grado Signature MCZ phono cartridge is a brand new production by Grado for LP Gear. It fits all previous Signature and Prestige models and can be used to improve their performance.

GRADO MINI ADAPTER CABLE

Constructed of the same high quality wire as their headphone cable, the Grado mini plug adapter cable converts a 1/4 inch (6.3mm) plug to 1/8 inch (3.5mm) plug. The mini adapter cable has a 1/8 inch (3.5mm) plug then 8 inches (20cm) of cable connected to a 1/4 inch (6.3mm) jack. The 8 inches (20cm) of cable eliminates added leverage on the output circuit board of the source. Grado guarantees no degradation of sonic quality with Grado headphones while using their mini adapter cable.

The Grado Reference Master 1 Phono cartridge is a fixed coil design, handcrafted at Grado Labs from specially selected species of mahogany. Unlike the Grado Prestige series, the Grado Reference cartridges have a generator/stylus module that is not replaceable thus allowing a redesigned one-piece magnetic circuit and a reduction of chassis resonances. The Grado Reference phono cartridges utilize manufacturing and assembly techniques of superlative accuracy and precision. The result is virtual perfection - the finest phono cartridges in the world! To hear the celestial performance of the Grado Reference cartridges, we recommend that they be used with the finest equipment.

The Grado Reference Master 1 phono cartridge features a specially designed nude elliptical diamond mounted on a brass bushing and a modified five-piece OTL cantilever technology achieving an additional 5% tip mass reduction over the Grado Reference Platinum and Grado Reference Sonata cartridges. GRADO REFERENCE PLATINUM 1 PLATINUM1 PHONO CARTRIDGE

The newly redesigned Grado Platinum 1 cartridge offers four improvements over its predecessor. The coil design has been reconfigured. The size of the coils were reduced, cutting back on the number of turns, for improved sound quality. Grado Labs has developed a new process of potting the coils which helps control internal resonance in the coils which then lowers the noise floor even more than before. Also, the effective moving mass of their generating system has been reduced by 17%, thus allowing for a quicker and more accurate reproduction of music. All this is hand-assembled within a machined, new processed, Australian Jarrah wood housing. The wood enclosure has been changed from Mahogany to Australian Jarrah, which is a much harder and denser, thus adding greater stability to the cartridge as a generating device.
