The Project Essential II turntable was fitted with an Ortofon OM5E cartridge and Ortofon Stylus 5E needle stylus. A photo of the LP Tunes improved stylus replacement is supplied above. Please verify and use this as a guide only since the cartridge and stylus may have been changed through the years.

Do not order the above stylus if it looks different from what you have or you have a missing stylus and are unable to compare. Instead, take a look at the info and marking on the existing cartridge and stylus and provide these to us. We need the brand and model number. Photos will also be helpful.

PRO-JECT PRIMARY TURNTABLE ORIGINAL ELLIPTICAL STYLUS

The Project Primary turntable was fitted with an Ortofon OM5E cartridge and Ortofon Stylus 5E needle stylus. A photo of the stylus replacement is supplied above. The color of the stylus varies. PRO-JECT T1 PHONO SB TURNTABLE STYLUS

The Pro-ject T1 Phono SB turntable was supplied with a factory installed Ortofon OM5E Moving Magnet cartridge. A photo of its replacement stylus is depicted above.
