ORTOFON OM-5E OM 5E OM5E CARTRIDGE

The Ortofon OM5E OM 5E phono cartridge is the least expensive cartridge that Ortofon offers. As in other Ortofon OM series cartridges, it portrays music naturally across the frequency spectrum.

And when its time for you to seek more discernment, you can easily upgrade to a higher level of performance by simply replacing the stylus to a Stylus 10, 20, 30 and 40. You can enjoy music now and even further later on when you choose to.

ORTOFON OMB 10 OMB10 CARTRIDGE
- New old stock in plastic case and LP Tunes packaging. Screws, nuts, and stylus guard included.

The Ortofon OMB 10 OMB-10 phono cartridge is the version of the OM 10 cartridge offered to turntable manufacturers for their use as original equipment with their turntables. Their popularity stems from three compelling reasons: (1) it plays music with authenticity, refinement, and artful competence that makes it endearing; (2) it is sensibly priced; and (3) it offers an upgrade path to highest fidelity. By simply replacing the stylus, an Ortofon OMB 10 owner can upgrade its performance to the highly rated Ortofon OM20, OM30 or OM40 cartridge.

There is a discontinued Super OM cartridge version. The current 2M is a further extension of it. Both illuminate the high frequencies to make it sound livelier — hotter. We prefer the original OM as it delivers an organic, natural, faithful, and honest sound of the recorded material.

Super Upgradeable
All OM models have the same body, construction, and magnetic circuitry. The only difference is the interchangeable stylus unit. Thus, when your level of musical sophistication improves, you can simply switch the existing stylus to the Ortofon Stylus 20, 30 or for pinnacle performance the Ortofon Stylus 40. The Ortofon Stylus 40 offers pinnacle performance for the most demanding listener.

ORTOFON SUPER OM 20 OM-20 OM20 PHONO CARTRIDGE
- The Absolute Sound Editors Choice & Highly Recommended Cartridge

The Ortofon Super OM20 phono cartridge has received accolades from many reviewers and end-users.

Review Summary
According to The Absolute Sound, the Ortofon Super OM20 has an elusive quality of relaxed, easy listenability that makes it among the most appealing of all pickups. The Ortofon Super OM30 is fractionally more transparent, lively, and dynamic... Both are superb trackers and achieve a level of sonic/musical performance quite disproportionate to their bargain-basement price.

*At the time of its review, the Ortofon Super OM20 was rated in the same performance category as the Shure V15VxMR.

Exclusive Technologies Deliver Superior Results
The world class performance of the Super OM20 cartridge is based on Ortofon's lightweight moving magnet system, originally introduced in the OM (Optimum Match) Series, with two (2) major refinements:

- By means of advanced computer simulation methods, Ortofon is able to define the natural pivot point of the system with unprecedented accuracy while achieving an optimum oscillation balance. This results in improved linearity, higher channel separation, and reduced distortion.

- Ortofon also developed a technique to "slit" the less than 1 mm diameter hollow pole pins, thus significantly reducing "eddy current" losses caused by magnetic hysteresis. This sophisticated technology extends the frequency range and improves phase linearity.
