The replacement for the Shure 8X needle stylus is used with the Shure R1000ED phono cartridge. The LP Tunes replacement stylus features a highly polished and precision profiled conical diamond tip that presents a raw sound quality which portrays the beauty of simplicity above complexity. The stylus is bonded to a thin-wall aluminum alloy tube cantilever for natural tone, harmonic richness, and vivid clarity across the frequency spectrum. The NDCs are now very difficult to source thus the alternative higher grade green elliptical stylus. Should the stylus with guard go out of stock, we will automatically ship the higher grade special elliptical green stylus.
